The Family of Man Council 7566, chartered on May 1, 1980, and located in Reston, VA, is a vibrant part of the St. John Neumann Catholic Community. Our council has over 250 members participating in various events throughout the year. Our most visible parish event is the monthly charity breakfast, where the Knights serve up a pile of flapjacks, sausages, and eggs for the fellowship of the community, and all voluntary donations go to various charities. There are other events the council participates in that are quite visible, but we exemplify our ideals of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Our Grand Knight for Fraternal Year 2023-2024 is David Bermingham. 

The Council is part of the Virginia Knights of Columbus District 17. We are also aligned with the St. Elizabeth Bayley Seton Assembly #1781.

Our Council Meetings are held in the Saint John Neumann Parish Hall on the First and Third Tuesdays of the month.

• Business Meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 PM. We pray the Rosary at 7:15 PM before the meeting.
• Social Meetings (no business conducted) are generally held on the third Tuesday of each month at 8:00 PM. Social meetings are open to all parish men and are a great way to learn more about the Knights.
