Through the generosity of the Cashman Family, the Knights of Columbus Family of Man Council is proud to announce a $1,000 college scholarship to help defray the costs of higher education. 

The criteria for the scholarship are:

• The applicant must be a member of a family registered at St John Neumann Parish.
• The applicant must be a practicing Catholic.
• The applicant is a graduating high school senior who will continue their education in the Fall at an accredited college or university.
• The applicant is a member of a school or an independent music and/or theater program. This includes school clubs and community arts programs.
• The applicant does not need to be enrolled in a college music or arts program, but preference will be given to applicants enrolled in a college performing arts program.
• With your application, submit an essay (not to exceed 500 words) demonstrating your strength of character and articulating your desire and motivation for pursuing higher education. The essay should also include examples that demonstrate your Christian Life and your devotion to and love for Jesus.

Applications must be postmarked by May 31, 2026. The scholarship award will be announced by June 15, 2026.

The scholarship winner must permit the Knights of Columbus Family of Man Council to use their name and photograph when announcing scholarship winners in the parish bulletin, local newspaper, web page, or other media.
